Back with a vengeance

Hola amigos, I know it’s been a long time since I rapped at ya, but we took this entire project under the hood once we realized just how big of an idea we stumbled upon.  Some of the world’s biggest artists, agencies and studios came knocking on our doors, so we knew it was time to double down.  In early October we took a small seed round led by superangel investors Paige Craig and John Frankel, brought on rockstar developers Ben Pinkerton and Romy Maxwell to round out the team, put our heads down and got to work.

Thanks to some innovative thinkers at William Morris Endeavor we’re able to show you exactly the kind of campaign you’ll be able to build yourself, in minutes, when we open up the self-serve platform in a few short days.  And because the platform comes with real-time tracking, we’ll be able to tell you exactly how this pilot campaign performed across the USA & Canada.

The Artist: Teen Heartthrob Mitchel Musso

Mitchel’s sophomore album Brainstorm just dropped last week, and you’ll find the ShareSquare QR code on his posters in high schools across the US (above), a sticker on the CD jewel case packaging in Walmarts across Canada, and running on the Akoo network’s food court TV screens in 181 shopping malls until Christmas (below).

Because of how flexible QR codes are, you can incorporate them pretty much anywhere you think a person with a smartphone might want to immediately learn more.  Flyers, stickers, magazines, tv screens, even billboards.  That’s because they can be as small as half an inch or as big as a building and still work the same.  And what exactly does this mobile experience look like you ask?  Well go ahead and scan Mitchel Musso’s code below with any scanning app (like ShopSavvy) or type the url directly into your mobile browser (shsq.re/musso) and play along at home!

When you land on Mitchel’s ShareSquare page on ANY smartphone, you’ll see that it looks and feels a lot like an app.  Clicking around on the top nav allows you experience the following:

  • watch a mobile music video
  • check out exclusive sexy glamour shots
  • download a free mp3 (and soon, iPhone app)
  • read his bio
  • “Like” Mitchel on Facebook and easily post to an update to Facebook & Twitter
  • click to buy a deluxe VIP package

Now Mitchel’s new fans can immediately engage and discover his music from places where they’d previously just have to remember to look him up when they got home.  Do you want that?  Sure you do.  You can has very soon by signing up for our private beta here.
